Overly Complex, Objectively Logical, and Uncontroversially Factual: The Truly Ultimate Five Nights at Freddy's (FNaF) Timeline
Category: Other
Updated: 14 Jun 2023
Or at least, that is what I am going for.
A work in progress, for anyone who has naturally discovered this, you should probably wait until it is more finished to read.
IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of the word/point limits, I have elected to move to an infinitely longer google doc, while this will simply be a visual aid of sorts. So this has stopped being updated for the time being.
I recommend reading the full description. I know it's long, but this timeline is way longer, so do it if you want it to make sense.
This is made to be the most comprehensive and in-depth FNaF timeline in existence, while using ALL the facts, and primarily logical reasoning above everything else. This goes in depth on so many things, even the things you probably did not want it to. You could have never even have played any of the FNaF games, and you still would probably understand more than the average person.
Warning: My natural writing style leans towards humorous, I can't help it, but I embraced it to make this narratively driven timeline a bit more entertaining. Hopefully it should be obvious to distinguish between what is and isn't a joke. But if there is anything you disagree with in here, then it's one of the jokes (perfect timeline!), and if something doesn't make sense, it's probably an obscure reference (When I said, “ALL the facts”, I meant it).
I also point out plenty of plotholes I am sure nobody else noticed, and will keep theorists up even later in the night (as if it's not enough already, am I right?).
By the way, this timeline was originally supposed to be more of a "community consensus" type of timeline with the most agreed upon version of event. Then I realized the community can be kind of dumb sometimes. So there may be remnants from that legacy perspective still in some places.
To avoid crowding the timeline, anything deemed requiring further explanation, or such, will have a citation. The same goes for any extra comment or notes which just didn't quite fit in with the flow.

I HIGHLY recommend reading them, not just for the mildly entertaining commentary, but because it makes a lot more things make a lot more sense.
There is a bit of time dilation that differs from game to game. So, all times are listed as the technical in universe time to make them all equal and avoid any confusion for differences between installments, while the real life equivalent is listed in parentheses.
One thing I really do want to emphasize though is: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S TIMELINE.
Is this the intended version of events?
Definitely not!
But does it make more sense than most?
That is for you to decide.
Please comment thoughts, suggestions, feedback, synonyms, ideas, angry opinionated rants about how wrong I am, etc. I am open to them all. Also, feel free to ask about the source and/or reasoning behind any choices made, if there was not enough already.
HELP, Please: There is some information that could be useful in the timeline, but I myself have not been able to Google details on. If you can provide a reliable source to help clarify these, it would be quite helpful and greatly appreciated.
1. What was the weather and climate of Utah like?
I have Googled various things about stuff like, when it snows in Utah, but I would not exactly consider such arbitrary sources reliable. So, if anyone knows where I can find archived weather and climate information about Utah, please let me know.

Unsealed Case File: The Morgan Freeman Theory
“Here is what actually happened. First you find out that Morgan Freeman likes pineapples. Morgan Freeman finds out and tries to sabotage your job. So Morgan Freeman hacks into the animatronics with his amazing Morgan Freeman magic and trys to kill you with them. Once he kills you with the animatronics no one will know his dirty little seacret and he will do an evil laugh in his seacret pineapple base in space. No one will know that he killed you because he will tell Arnold Schwarzenegger to terminate everyo[ne]...”
This theory is correct.
Scott Cawthon, FNaF fangames, Freddit, and YOU are not canon.
