The first nighttime security guard at the location calls the company's still reused number of 1-888-329-3292327 and gets the job by default, because there is no other competition for the position. After finishing his week with no place to run and exactly zero places to hide [68], he finally complains about the animatronics attempting to get into his office and is subsequently moved over to the day shift, from opening to closing.
Although the engineers do not have a proper explanation for the animatronics' behavior, they have the working theory that they were never given a proper “night mode”. As a result, they try to find where the people are when it gets too quiet, being the security guard and his office in this case, but that is just a theory [69]. One temporary solution for a single animatronic in the entire building, the Puppet, is to install a windup music box at the Prize Counter, which can be wound up remotely through Camera 11. For the rest of the animatronics, the solution is an empty Freddy Fazbear head to trick them and counteract the extremely minor glitch about seeing people as endoskeletons and trying to shove them into mascot suits.

I also have no clue if this was a summer job. What I do have a clue of, is that they put an extremely vague ad in the paper for a replacement guard, in which they changed to a 555 number, for absolutely no known reason at all. Nobody knows why whatsoever, it is a complete and total mystery that we will never know the answer to.

Starts at Parts and Service, party room 3, or the office. Actually found abrupt end time, every 30 seconds there is a 1/3 chance to automatically intterupt and end.
When moving to the right to enter a room, 1/100 chance for purple guy.
1/25 chances for Golden Freddy to be in any four corner when entering a room.

One night between Tuesday and Saturday, before the installation of the restrooms, Withered Freddy tries to SAVETHEM, minigame style, by following the Puppet around the building. The only other animatronic moving around is “The Mangle”, because apparently, “HE WAS HERE”. But that does not mean much, since everyone is here [70], even Golden Freddy has a chance to decide to fade into existence for once. When I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE, there are (another) five dead children scattered about the place, having made a bloody mess everywhere. What is the first night security guard doing about this? He was the one who did it, as none other than the Purple Guy himself, William Afton. Plot twist! Wearing his yellow badge and literally nothing else, William walks up to Withered Freddy just to tell him, “YOU CAN'T”, before he simply walks away. Withered Freddy is subsequently devastated and his morale plummets, along with his only chance of relevancy to the story.
