mar 7, 1995 - Night Two

Description:

Ballora performs again.
Circus Baby has a busy day at work.

Minute long elevator ride, real time.

Meanwhile, Eggs returns for another night of intellectual stimulation, pivotal career choices, and self-reflection on past mistakes. Part of their commitment to a unique and fulfilling work experience is to ensure he does not get tired of Handunit’s current voice. Eggs is told to input a corresponding number into the keypad. 1 for male, 2 for female, 3 for text only, and 4 for other options. The keypad unfortunately lacks numbers entirely (and the letter B), so Handunit helps him out and autocorrects to Angsty Teen. The elevator stops and Eggs is given the option of getting out or staying if he wants [145]. He gets out. In the vent, Handunit tells a funny story about a dead body being found in the very same vent [146]. Eggs starts off his nightly chores by zapping Ballora, since she has better things to do, such as making encoded noises, in the normal fashion. She is simply just being Argumentative of the Standards, as well as Elevation, to which Passive Heights have reached. Ballora does not return to her previous stage of being on stage, poising herself in the window instead, but they do not check the light again, so her effort is wasted. They check on Funtime Foxy to make sure he is ready for Showtime the next day, but he is doing so great that Handunit reverts back to default settings. The voice synthesizer is doing great and definitely has nothing to do with Funtime Foxy's gender.
Eggs proceeds to Circus Baby’s Auditorium, which is completely different to the Circus Gallery. Circus Baby had a busy day, so they uselessly check the lights. They are not here to play Hide-and-Seek at the moment, so they seek to encourage Circus Baby to come out of hiding with a controlled shock. There is a power malfunction that inhibits their ability to motivate Circus Baby properly. Handunit momentarily goes offline to reboot the system. Handunit warns Eggs that during this process, other various systems like security doors, vent locks, and oxygen may or may not go offline. Handunit proceeds to commence the system restart, and he deactivates with the facility's power. Of course, the female computer voice is somehow still online to tell Eggs about the systems and motion triggers.

Circus Baby speaks to Eggs, saying she does not recognize him, which makes sense, because he is new. She remembers this scenario. What is this scenario, you may ask? Anyway, she thinks it is a strange thing for someone to want to spend their nights in a place like this [147]. She ponders upon curiosity and ignorance as possible reasons for events that could lead to someone working there, willingly. Next, she tells him about a space under the desk, which was crafted by a previous employee. It (kind of) worked for him, so Eggs will be safe there too. She recommends him to hurry and avoid making eye contact, they will lose interest, and it will be over soon. Eggs hides under the desk behind a sheet of metal riddled with holes, so definitely a hiding spot that will work. The two Bidybabs arrive, immediately knowing that someone is inside, as the holes are right at their eye level. They knock on the door, but Eggs does not return their knock-knock joke [148]. This angers them, so they invade his privacy by peeping through the holes. The numerous holes make it impossible to avoid eye contact with Eggs, and they start to pry the space open. They say they always find a way inside but, unfortunately for them, two baby animatronics are weaker than one adult human [149]. After failing to open the door twice, they realize they have to leave now. They tell Eggs that they will see him again soon [150].

Circus Baby speaks to Eggs again. Handunit will come back online to say he was unsuccessful, so Eggs must restart the system manually. Handunit will instruct him to crawl through Ballora Gallery as fast as he can to reach the Breaker Room. If Eggs does this, he will die. Ballora will not return to her stage. Eggs must crawl slowly if he is to avoid being caught. Circus Baby gives the whole tutorial to Eggs, Ballora is blind and can therefore only hear his movements, so Eggs should stop when her music gets louder, because it means she is closing in [151].
Handunit comes back online to say he was unsuccessful, so Eggs must restart the system manually. Handunit instructs him to crawl through Ballora Gallery as fast as he can to reach the Breaker Room, to avoid disturbing Ballora. If Eggs does this, he will disturb Ballora (die).

Eggs returns to the Primary Control Module, where Handunit temporarily deactivates himself to avoid creating an auditory disturbance. Eggs uses his flashlight to see the very interesting ground he crawls on and elects to take Circus Baby's advice, while he hears Ballora's distant singing [E22]. There is probably some hidden intent or meaning behind it, but Eggs has more important matters to take care of and gets across without any jumpscares of death, or blue screens of death. Handunit temporarily reactivates himself to start creating an auditory disturbance, and let Eggs know he is taking a long time. In an attempt to convince Eggs to Dance with Her, she spins by in front of him. The Funtime Freddy poster on the Breaker Room door says to “Get Ready!”, but Eggs is not ready for Freddy [152].

Upon entering the Breaker Room, Handunit tells Eggs to interface with the Breaker Control Box and that he is free to disconnect it at any time if he feels endangered. Although, the power restoration process will slowly deplete, if disconnected. Also, it may disturb nearby electronics and Funtime Freddy is there too…for some reason, don't ask about it. Eggs proceeds to restore power to the entire building, Fredbear's Family Diner, and a couple of houses, which I forgot to mention are all above and connected to the underground animatronic rental storage facility. Funtime Freddy mistakenly believes that Eggs is his friends [153], the birthday boy, so he wants to give him a surprise. It is not actually Eggs' birthday, and he does not want to accidentally receive any unwarranted birthday gifts early, so he plays some Mascot Response Tapes through Bon-Bon to distract Funtime Freddy and calm him down. Everything is okay, except Funtime Freddy is up past his bedtime, so Bon-Bon tells him to return to his stage to sleep [154]. It was only a mouse and Funtime Freddy is simply hearing things (probably a norm for him), no one is here, nope for sure. After Eggs finishes resetting the power, Funtime Freddy noclips into the Backrooms once more [155].

DIVIVDER

As Eggs recrosses Ballora Gallery to go back home, Ballora becomes temporarily paralyzed, asking if someone is there. She almost asks if it is time for the show, but can hear that someone is creeping through her room and looks at her watch to see it is, in fact, not Showtime. She then becomes temporarily deaf too and changes her mind, deciding perhaps no one is in her room at all. Since Ballora is temporarily paralyzed, deaf, and blind, Eggs has no issue getting home.
Unfortunately, there is the issue of his pay being decreased by a substantial amount for his lackluster performance.

Shift Complete! Now Eggs can go home and eat popcorn as the sun sets with another chapter in the saga of lost love that is “The Immortal and the Restless”. Vlad claims the baby is not his, which Clara disputes. Clara tells Vlad about how they had trouble catching the baby in the nursery earlier that day. Vlad dismisses it, as lots of kids get hyper, run around, and “stuff”. Clara clarifies that they had to knock the baby out of the air with a broom. Vlad suddenly tries to go, but before he does, Clara informs him that they are going to dock his paychecks. Vlad retorts that he is a vampire, so he does not get paychecks. However, Clara knows that he works the graveyard shift at the Frin/my Taco and confronts him with this information.

Bidybabs don't go for elevator?
