KEY!!!!!!!!- my 2 themes:
(green)- Oppression vs Resistance- In lots of American history there are times of oppression against races, genders, and social classes. As one sees, throughout history there is a pattern of oppression and then protests resisting the oppression. Today, people can still see that pattern.
(red)- Diverse religions- For many people, Religion is a large part of their lives. Since America was founded by immigrants, there are many different religions that have migrated to the US via immigration. In this timeline, one can see the evolution of religions in America from Animism to Mormonism.
