feb 22, 1763 - -----------P3----------- Pontiac's Uprising

Description:

After the Seven Years war, British settlers continued to move into western North America. The chief of the Ottawa tribe, Pontiac, led an uprising against the british colonists. The tribes killed approximately 2000 settlers, but the British attacked back with more people and weapons including blankets and people infected with smallpox. Fortunately, Pontiac’s war resulted in the Proclamation line of 1763, a line that separated American land for settling.
