Alexander Hamilton
Description:
Alexander Hamilton was an important figure in the development of American government. He was interested in solving debt problems but his plan was not liked by states with small debts. Because of this, he sent the National debt to $75 million. Aside from his debt proposal, he wanted to create a national back, modeled off of the Bank of England. However, Jefferson opposed his idea. Hamilton was also an inspiring individual because of his background. Being an orphan and suffering many traumatizing events as a child, he showed Americans that hard work and determination could transform someone’s non-substantial life into a productive one. Now, he has a Broadway musical written about him and it’s really cool. 3.2, II
