Timeline Reflection:
I am reassessing for standards on Japanese expansion before and during WWII because I failed to integrate my knowledge of this unit when analyzing primary sources.
I prepared for the first assessment by studying my notes only the day before the assessment itself. I also failed to give consideration to use practice source problems to help prepare for source analysis questions.
By completing this activity, not only did I review much learned material and even learn in depth about some new events, but I also learned that giving more time and consideration into studying with a planned schedule (especially through large projects like this timeline) are beneficial and crucial towards studying for high school and college level tests of this caliber.
I plan to study for tests from here on out by looking weeks ahead to become aware about when assessment is, and then studying my notes as I write them instead of cramming it all on the final few days before the assessment. That way I feel stress-free while also maintain consistent understanding of the knowledge over a longer period of time. This also allows me to understand what content deserves priority at what time.
