Usage Instructions: Different text colors and fill colors indicate different event properties. Location: All events above the axis are Chinese events. All events below the axis are global events with high importance. Event Design: The rectange means the events are important. The circle means the events are less important. The unimportant events may not be included even in the future. Text Color means different game platforms: Blue stands for arcarde; Red stands for home consoles; Cyan stands for handheld consoles; Yellow stands for single player computer games and multiple player computer games (such as WC3), but no online games (such as WoW), or I call none-online computer games; Green stands for online games; Purple stands for mobile games; Oranges stands for esports; White stands for unrelated or general game platforms (an event may influence different game platforms). Fill color means different types of events: Brown stands for policy-related events, such as bills; Blue-black stands for social events; Dark-red stands for social activities (such as game exhibitions); Black stands for game release; Dark-green stands for game console releas or game-related hardware release and IT development; Blue-green stands for video game media and books; Grey stands for enterpise events (including attending game exhibitions and publicizing games); Yellow-green stands for gaming derivatives (such as films). The align stands for the accuracy of the date: Center means the date is accurate. Left align meas the month is accurate. Right align means the year is accurate.
