May 5th, 1879 A meeting is held in Versailles to talk about new taxation laws, since France was in debt thanks to it's expenses in the American revolution. King Louis XVI and the Estates-General attended this meeting.
July 14th, 1879: Storming of Bastille Parisians breach their way into Bastille, a fortress and prison, and they loot weapons and ammunition from the royal army.
August 27th, 1789: Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen There is a meeting made in National Assembly were the representatives of France discuss the rights of man and the citizen. French people thought that i ignorance, forgetfulness and contempt of the rights of man was the only reason why governments became corrupt.
(Around) October 5th 1789: Women's March on Versailles Around 7,000 angry working women marched to Versailles from Paris. They breached in the palace searching for Marie Antoinette, in a plot to kill her, but she remained calm just like Louis. The women then demanded bread to King Louis XVI, which he gave to them.
June 1791: The Flight to Varennes The royal family attempts to flee Paris and go to Varennes. They did not want to deaf with all the problems in France at the time. During the attempted flight, the King. was recognised by a postmaster, and was taken back to Paris. he could no longer be trusted.
September 30th, 1791: The French Constitution was made by the National Assembly.
September 21st, 1792 After the imprisonment of Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI, the Monarchy was abolished on the 21st of september, of this day.
January 21st, 1793: King louis is Executed King Louis is finally executed after over a year of imprisonment.
July 1794. Maximilian Robespierre is overthrown from power.
