oct 5, 1789 - (Around) October 5th 1789: Women's March on Versailles Around 7,000 angry working women marched to Versailles from Paris. They breached in the palace searching for Marie Antoinette, in a plot to kill her, but she remained calm just like Louis. The women then demanded bread to King Louis XVI, which he gave to them.
