Though Earth and Mars have many similarities, Mars is significantly different than Earth. Mars is 11% smaller than Earth, and has no water. Mars has no ocean, unlike Earth. Mars's average temperature is -81 degrees Fahrenheit, while it's surface temperature is 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Mars is located 1.5 AUs away from the Sun.
