feb 26, 1948 - 14th May 1948
In response to their declaration of Independance,
Israel is invaded by neighbouring Arab nations who
rejected the partition of Palestine.
This spawned the Israeli War of Independance.
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) is also formed which
proved to be more efficient and effective than their
Arab enemies.
