Soviet Russia supplies Cuba with nuclear weapons which causes the United States to grow weary of the new found power in Cuba. President Kennedy responds with a naval blockade surrounding Cuba which results in Castro writing a letter to Moscow, urging them to deploy nuclear weapons at the cost of losing Cuba. Moscow and the US reaches a deal in which the US removes missiles from Turkey in exchange for the removal of missiles in Cuba. The Crisis finally ends when the US sends food and medicine to Cuba in exchange for Bay of Pigs invasion prisoners.
