a weak government and a poor economy
Italians supported his fascist movement.1933
Hitler became Chancellor and vowed
to make Germany great again.

Japan took over parts of China.
In the years to come, they managed
to take over most of South East Asia.1938
Hitler invaded Austria and succeeded.1935
Mussolini invaded Africa successfully
and occupied some parts of it.1936
Italy and Germany formed an alliance.1939
Hitler invaded Poland and
shortly afterwards Britain
and France declared war
against the country. Shortly
afterwards Australia joins the
Allies in fighting WWII.1940
Winston Churchill becomes the new
Prime Minister of the UK. Around the same time
Hitler's Blitzkrieg used in the invasion
of France wiped out France's best army
and forced Britain to escape
(both of these allies were trying
to defend the nation).
France was occupied.
Despite that, the French people
were able to regain most of Africa.1940
President Roosevelt won the 1940 election
and became the new president of the US.
He sent weapons to the UK. In the meatime
the Tripartite pact was formed between Italy,
Japan and Germany which became the Axis Powers.
After a while, the Axis was able to intercept the supply line
of weapons by destroying delivery ships.1941
Hitler betrayed Stalin and occupied
the main parts of the Soviet Union
and unleashed his hatred towards
the people of the country.
He continued to take over more parts of Europe.
Meanwhile, Japan damaged the Allies fleet especially
during the attack on the American naval
base at Pearl Habour on 7th December.
Then the US declared war on Japan
and Germany declared war on the US.
Britain also declared war on Japan soon after.1943
Alan Turing cracked Germany’s enigma code.
Also, Mussolini was kicked out of his fascisco
group and surrendered to the Allies.1944
France was liberated from the Axis
occupation. Later on the Allies fought
hard and regained more territory from
the Axis Powers.1945
Hitler committed suicide and Berlin was liberated.
Germany surrendered to the Allies.
Allies forced Japan into surrender as they launched
two atomic bombs in Nagasaki and Hiroshima August 1945
The war was declared over 2nd September 1945.
