Hazel is awaiting her fate in the camp when an unknown boy named Robin comes to her aid. She, Robin, and Neira are trying to escape when Neira is grazed with an arrow. Although it is a minor wound, Robin immediately considers her a liability and abandons her. Hazel does not want to argue because she wants to escape alive, but she does protest this for a few moments before caving in. They meet up with an unknown girl who disappears by night. Robin doesn't mention any details about this girl afterwards.
