The Bay of Pigs Invasion was a failed military invasion of Cuba undertaken by the Central Intelligence Agency-sponsored paramilitary group Brigade. Cuba was taking territory from the United States and selling it to their people.The U.S was worried that the soviet union was getting too close to Cuba.
