16 сент 1950 г. - 1950s and 1960s: magazines were encouraged to publish letters from readers, to encourage
consumerism. However, the letters exposed long-term problems with Soviet society such as
alcoholism. Instead of suppressing these letters Khrushchev responded with its own campaigns
against wothless men.
