On December 16th 1907, President Teddy Roosevelt had his naval ships on a massive tour around the world showing all naval officers and world leaders what the American industry and navy had achieved. Teddy Roosevelt wanted to glorify the United States and express the fact that no one should mess with them. This really showed the dominance of the United States and would for the years to follow.
