1 март 1882 г. - Chinese Exclusion Act
Описание:
The Chinese Exclusion Act in the Spring of 1882 became the first law in the United States to limit immigration. People on the West Coast were getting tired of declining wages and economic ills and continually blamed them on the Chinese Immigrants. The Chinese immigrants hardly even consisted of a population in the American workforce, but nevertheless Congress passed the exclusion act and relocated almost all Chinese immigrants and granted American workers concerns of continuing racial white purity.
