Also called the Conquest of Africa or the Partition of Africa, The scramble for Africa was the division and colonization of African territory by the Europeans during the New Imperialistic time (1881-1914) in 1870 Europe only had 10% of the African population but by 1881 they had took almost complete control of the African people with around 90% of the population under their rule with only Uganda and Liberia being independent
