Jails in Britain were overflowing and they desperately needed somewhere to ship convicts. Finally, Captain James Cook and the first fleet discovered a big mass of land that would be perfect. This was where thousands of convicts were shipped in awful conditions. After a while More colonys were founded and then al the colonys unified and becaame a nation. The nation was called Australia
