Brought first nkisi down from heaven in an earthenware vessel and sat it upon three stones or a termite mound
Nkisi = translated as spirit; plural minkisi
N’kondi = hunter
Represented as a container of sacred substances which are activated by supernatural forces that can be summoned into the physical world.
