The first Multicast Backbone (MBONE); audio and video broadcasted to multiple computers simultaneously occurred. Eventually, the technology evolved to allow live streaming of radio and television broadcasts, which is webcasting, and evolved into an internet streaming product like Netflix that we know and love today .
