Relationships- 4th Century- Basel was a minor apendage of Augst.
5th Century- The population was intermingled through the region while the Rhine marked the border between two empires.
8th Century- a Bishop decided to move from Augst to Basel and that was when the city came alive.
763-836th Century- Basel had a bunch of different of settlements. The town was made up of less closely connected epicenters.
Houses and homesteads were now owned by families.
