~Civil Rights Movement~
- America was reaching a boiling point. At this time Civil rights were at their peak, campaigning for women's suffrage and de-segregation in public schools. In 1954, Brown vs. the BOE is a landmark case that ruled segregation in schools unconstitutional. Schools were integrated, but still grappling with effective teaching and school maintenance and creating effective learning environments. (jan 1, 1950 – jan 1, 1980)
