Jean d'Arc (oct 31, 1412 – nov 24, 1431)
Description:
Had visions as a child and when in 1428 these visions became stronger she travelled to the french court, she had audience with Charles who quetioned her about her visions and if she was a virgin. She then send a letter to the English king who laughed at her letter. Jean was amazingly succesfull however and led French attacks making them retreat from orleans. She was named co-commander of teh army and led a string of victories. Some towns not even resisting. She was captured in one of her battles and burned at the stake.
