Rule of Géza and Spehan I (jun 6, 970 – may 23, 997)
Description:
A former pagan converted to Roman Christianity aswell. Gave support to the Papcy. and was against the Byzantine empire aswell. His son Stephan was crowned king of Hungary by Papal and representative on chrismas day of 1000. He build churches and encouraged use of the latin and Roman alphabet. This relationship shaped the future of Eastern Europe as Charlemagne's relationship with the papacy shaped the west of Europe.
