The first of a series of 3. The Romans who now controlled sicily and certain cities in Greece saw Carthage as a trade competitor. Rome hired Greeks to re build some of Carthages mighty Vessels for them to try and compete with the mighty naval power of Carthage. They implemented their fightning style on land by using gangplanks and with military resources and might won 6 out of 7 battles and wore down their competitor. with this sicily became their first real provinceAdded to timeline:
