Description:
-Highly contagious airborne disease
-infected person can spread to as many as 20 people
-Cant be spread by fomites
-2 types, latent and active TB
-Latent TB is where you have it but your immune system has it contained and active is where it is active in your body
-Can lead to Potts disease or scrofula
-People infected were forced to live in sanatoriums
-Treated by streptomycin
