Han (may 5, 202 BC – jan 23, 220)
Description:
The Han dynasty rose up out of the dust of the failing Qin dynasty, and the Hans were able to revitalize the positives that the Qin had while improving upon the weaknesses of the Qin dynasty. The Han were able to extend their borders, increase trade, promote formal training and supported Confucianism. Around 220 CE, the Huns invaded the Hans and were able to sack them while they did not expect it. This fall instigated the fall of many other powerful dynasties, such as the Gupta Empire and the Western Roman Empire.
