Description:
Subseqent entries were made over the next several days to remove the two remaining bodies and to recover certain equipment and records. Of over 100 people engaged in recovery operations during the first 24 hours after the incident and of the several hundred so engaged in the following week, 22 persons received radiation exposures in the range of three to 27 roentgens total body exposure. Precautionary medical check-ups did not disclose any clinical symptoms.Added to timeline:
