Louis XIII and Cardinal Richelieu (mar 22, 1601 – jan 21, 1643)
Description:
Cardinal Richelieu took place as King because Louis XIII was too young to rule, and believed in absolutism and wanted to limit power of nobles and passed many taxes. Richelieu's work led to the absolute monarchy of France once he passed.
