Paul - Louis Simond (sep 22, 1848 – sep 22, 2118)
Description:
Simond was an army physician working with Pasteur. He used the scientific method to show connection between the plague, Y. Pestis, fleas and rodents. He created the experiment where two rats were separated by wire mesh and the health rat was on top and the sick rat was on the bottom. The sick rat at the bottom had fleas and so the healthy rat became sick.
