"Underground Railroad conductors Levi and Catharine Coffin take runaway slaves into their Indiana home for the first time.
The Coffin home in Fountain City is often called the 'Grand Central Station' of the Underground Railroad. The Coffins helped as many as 2 000 slaves escape to freedom in the northern United States and Canada."
