Battle of Stalingrad (aug 23, 1942 – feb 2, 1943)
Description:
Considered a major turning point of the war for the eastern front, and later known as one of the most violent battles in history. a brutal battel with major losses on both sides. the major reason the USSR won was because the Germans were not perpaird for the cold harsh winter.
