Victorian Boom Style Era
The Boom Style Victorian Era first emerged during the mid-1870s and finished towards the 1890's
With the economic boom of the gold rush, architecture became very complicated and contained very unnecessary architectural features
Some of these distinguishing features were:
-Intricate Brickwork (patterns, colours, shapes)
-Highly decorated facades
-Decorated roofs with tiles in polychromatic patterns
It received its name from the economic boom of the gold rush (jul 11, 1875 – feb 19, 1895)
