Description:
A period in which the culmination of multiple rapid growth sectors of technologies and developments in differing sectors impact the multi-media landscape for many western audiences. In an analogy short, popcorn begins to pop constantly until it starts to settle. Leaving/leading toward a nice blanket of popcorn to enjoy from. (That being the new technologies, entertainment, and forms of consumption of media)
