Max Planck (feb 12, 1858 – feb 12, 1947)
Description:
Max Planck discovered that energy is distinct particles, and it is not continuous. He also discovered that the energy that is radiated from a heated body is proportional to the wavelength of its radiation.
Planck was German and was a professor at the University of Berlin. He eventually became the dean of the University of Berlin.
