Battle of the Bulge (dec 16, 1944 – jan 25, 1945)
Description:
Starting in December of 1944, the Battle of the Bulge was a war brought on by the Germans against US frontliners. The Germans needed to win this battle to make a truce instead of having to surrender to the allied forces. Although they tried, the Germans eventually failed to win, and gave the United states the confidence they needed to know that they had "won the war".
