Battle of Gettysberg (jul 1, 1863 – jul 3, 1863)
Description:
This battle occurred during July 1st and ended on July 3rd of 1863. During the battle, both Union and Confederate forces launched full-scale assaults, both sides of the battle sustained large casualties. In the end, General Lee and his Confederate forces were forced to retreat from Gettysburg. This battle is considered the major turning point of the Civil War, and led the civil war to go in the Union's favor.
