Dakota Internment at Fort Snelling (0h 27min, sep 23, 1862 y – 17 h, apr 6, 1863 y)
Description:
Dakota men, women and kids are imprisoned in a concentration camp below the walls of Fort Snelling. Nearly 300 Dakota die over the winter by illnesses. Some also died from attacks by the civilians and soldiers.
