Sweeping Illness (mar 13, 1616 – jun 23, 1619)
Description:
There was a large outbreak of illness that killed a heavy percentage of people in England, especially in the Wampanoag area. The exact cause is unknown, but it is believed to have been a combination of diseases such as leptospirosis, yellow fever, bubonic plague, meningitus, influenza, and smallpox.
