Description:
This subject is white red and green. then around 1885 Louis Riel returned to Canada from the united states. The Canadian government was essentially going to colonize Saskatchewan. so Louis Riel, two aboriginal chiefs and Gabriel Dumont. john a. MacDonald sent some of his troops to work with the RCMP through the almost complete CPR. john a. MacDonald wanted to crush the rebellion. since there wasn't really any hope of winning a full out war Dumont decided to use guerrilla tactics. Riel didn't like the fact that Dumont used guerrilla tactics. he organized a last stand. of course that failed. Louis Riel was arrested and later executed by the state of Canada and Gabriel Dumont fled to united states.
