Congress of Soviets (jan 6, 1918 – dec 5, 1936)
Description:
After the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly, the Congress of Soviets became the highest organ of the State. It was convened very rarely, and its main functions were performed by the Central Executive Committee. First, the Congress met in the Tavrichesky Palace in Petrograd, then in the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
