Sixth Crusade The sixth crusade started 7 years after the Fifth Crusade, and it involved minimal fighting. The purpose of this was to recapture the city of Jerusalem. The Crusaders won, and the city of Jerusalem was returned to the Crusaders. (jan 1, 1228 – jan 1, 1229)
