Fifth Crusade The Western Europeans started this Crusade as an attempt to reacquire the Holy Land. The Muslims won the crusade, resulting in an eight-year truce between the Ayyubids and the Crusaders.

Eighth Crusade The Eighth Crusade was lead by Louis IX again, who did not lose interest in crusading after being captured and bailed with a ransom. Louis IX died during the war, however, trade and a treaty were opened with Tunis after the war.
Lord Edward's Crusade The last holy Crusade, sometimes called the Ninth Crusade, was an extension of the Eighth Crusade, lead by Lord Edward. The result of the war is inconclusive; however, Jerusalem remained under Muslim control. After the war, the Treaty of Caesarea was established, and there was a ten-year truce between Mamluks and Crusaders.
Barons' Crusade The Barons' Crusade, also known as the Crusade of 1239, is one of the most successful Crusades since the First. Started by Pope Gregory IX, this Crusade resulted in Jerusalem returning to the largest size it has ever been since 1187.
