John Locke Is known today as the Father of Liberalism (16th Century) (born August 29, 1632-October 28, 1704 ). He was an English physician and Philosopher, and his theories were foundational towards the shift towards liberalism. He wrote several notable works, including ‘A Letter Concerning Toleration’ (1689), and his works and theories were a huge contribution to the Enlightenment.
