Electron emissions are when a substance
emits electrons. A particular type of
electron emission is particularly interesting and relates
to heat and temperature. It is called THERMIONIC EMISSIONS.
It is a process in which electrons
are emitted from the surface of a metal
when heat energy is applied to said metal.
This occurs in extremely high temperatures.
I think that this happens becuase the heat energy
makes the electrons move around, similiar to
boiling water vapor, so they escape out of the subs (dec 26, 1994 – dec 18, 1995)
