Description:
ndrew Jackson, the 7th President of the United States was put into office on March 4 1829. Andrew Jackson served as a major general in the War of 1812, commanded U.S. forces in a five-month campaign against the Creek Indians, allies of the British. One of his biggest achievements as president was resolving the Nullification Crisis.
