Napoleon as the villian (nov 23, 1812 – nov 23, 1815)

Description:

This is when Napoleon seems more like a warmonger than anything else. Everyone knows you cant invade Russia in the winter. Although Napoleon wasn't the first to try, his failure was the most famous. His poor decision (which none of his generals supported) led to the death of nearly half a million of his own men. Even though he was essentially beat at this point, he didn't surrender. He continued to fight and caused so much more death for no reason. All of Europe was allied against him and they beat him into the ground at Leipzig. Instead of killing him they exiled him in hopes he could die peacefully on his tropical island. France started to rebuild (again) and Napoleon came back anyway. He rebuilt the army and embrked on another conquest. This time Europe was ready and destroyed him at Waterloo.
